Get to know me
Hello! I’m Hayley
The founder of Nesting Nutrition where we offer specialist advice on nutrition to enhance your fertility.
I am Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine practitioner, registered with The Complimentary and Natural Healthcare council (CNHC) and member of The British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Therapy (BANT).
“I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) in my early 20’s and like many women who face this diagnosis, I was told by my doctor that I may find it difficult to conceive in the future.
Due to the imbalance in my hormones I did not menstruate, I struggled to maintain my weight, my moods were up and down and I had cystic acne that was painful and made me feel self-conscious. I had so many questions, and there was so little help available to me beyond the advice to take the female contraceptive pill to manage my symptoms and waiting until I wanted to a have a baby to see if I would be able to. I felt so strongly that this was inadequate and, in my quest to manage my own predicament, I began a journey to learn everything I could to help myself.
…Over a decade later, I am here to tell you that Nutrition has made an enormous impact on my life. I have gathered an overwhelming amount of evidence throughout my journey, and I am completely dedicated to sharing it with you”
When it comes to fertility, ensuring all the processes in the body are supported correctly has profound impact.
How do I work?
My ethos
As a practitioner, my ethos is to focus on my clients’ overall wellness and mindset throughout our journey together. In my experience, this is an effective approach because, especially when it comes to fertility, ensuring all the processes in the body are supported correctly has profound impact.
Who I support
I will meet you where you are on your journey, whether this is supporting you in natural conception, preparing for egg freezing or Assisted Reproductive Technologies - In fact, research shows that adopting a fertility friendly diet is proven to support success in IVF by up to 40%.
How I can help
More so than ever, there is a wealth of information available to us about how to improve our health and wellbeing which, in one way, is good as it means we are all starting to think about diet and lifestyle affecting our health more. However, despite best intentions, this advice can often bring uncertainty, and in some cases complication, particularly when it comes to fertility.
Together through investigation, and where appropriate by testing, we can ensure you are on the correct plan for you.
